The UView UVU499012A is a great product for detecting fuel leaks and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to buy new or upgrade their current fuel leak detector. My husband always seems like he has gas in the garage, but never actually throws out a full can of gasoline before going into the house. One time when my youngest was small, we had an incident that almost ended up with a fire burning our house down (fortunately, nobody got hurt). When I decided on getting myself one of these units, they were out of stock at all stores near me so I ordered them online through Amazon. The delivery was speedy and the price couldn’t be beat!

I found 2 customer reviews at time of writing, they had awarded the UView UVU499012A 1.0 out of a possible 5 on average.
The stench from fuel leaks is not pleasant and it’s good to have tools like these around so you can identify where your gas line might be leaking. But that doesn’t mean I will recommend them- in fact, I find them quite unreliable for their purpose and would only purchase this product for curiosity sake if nothing else was available locally as no one has reviewed them previously.

The UView UVU499012A is a fuel leak detector that has the ability to detect different fuels with its three options of automotive, construction or aviation. The unit comes in one color and can be used for both indoor or outdoor purposes but does not come with any sort of housing so it must be kept dry at all times according to the manufacturer’s specifications.
