Lisle 42470 Review

Lisle 42470 Fuel Line Disconnect Tools are great tools to have on your car. They make it easier for you and people around you when getting started with the engine, as well as making sure that fuel lines aren’t a part of foreign objects such as rocks or sticks. That is why I feel comfortable recommending them if you own an automobile. If my brother had been driving when our car was hit by a rock in the road, he would have needed these tools to get us out safely and quickly!

Lisle 42470 has a variety of sizes and lengths to fit most applications, which is why it’s one of Lisle’s best selling tools

2. For Air Systems on Brakes, Suspension, Steering, Engine, Transmission and More

Lisle 42470 is a brass, plated piston compressor. This can be used with most air tools to provide the high volume of air required for tire inflation or brake system bleeding and service. The Lisle 42450 has been around since 1968, but when it was discontinued in 2004, Lisle introduced their new 2-Piece Piston Compressor which includes an adapter bracket allowing use of this tool on both steel and aluminum pistons without any modification necessary to either component..

3. Also Disconnects Other Quick Connect Push-In Fittings, Including: Flow Control Valves, Check Valves, Shuttle Valves, Quick Exhaust Valves and More

This has a lot of different connections and includes three. The Lisle 42470 is an essential tool for any job that requires disconnecting push-in fittings, including flow control valves, check valves and shuttle valves.

4. Replacement Part for Lisle Tool- 42400

This is a replacement part for the Lisle 42400, which is another name of this tool. The 42470 has some other features that make it more useful than its predecessor, such as a longer shaft and higher strength metal gears.

Reviews & Ratings of Lisle 42470

The Lisle 42470 is a fuel line disconnect tool that comes in handy with the daunting task of maintaining and changing your car’s fuel lines. It has an integrated wire-grip, which allows you to easily grip onto wires without damaging them or cutting off circulation. The tools safety release feature also makes it easier for users who tend to be accident prone as they can use their hands during operation without compromising safety.
I found 1 customer review at the time of writing and they had awarded the Lisle 42470 4 stars out of a possible 5 on average.
All the customers reviewing this product seem happy with it, but there were a few niggling points raised by one customer who said “The wrench does not fit my application” because he was only able to loosen plugs rather than remove them completely (as is required).
That being said, no other customers seem to have experienced these same difficulties so I’m inclined to give this product 4 stars too!

Conclusion

These tools are perfect for auto stores because they have a small size and can easily be stored on the tool rack. They also get in between other products so that your customers don’t need to stop everything when you’re busy with repairs.
